We had a wonderful time in Tibet. We have learned a lot about this unique destination because of the wonderful guide Degyi who is so knowledge and always available towards our tours. We stayed at the Shangri-La Hotel Lhasa, and we would never imagine a Tibet travel could be so nice and amazing without the help of Degyi.

Also, thanks a lot to our Tibetan driver Mr.Wongdun for his safe driving and a good sense of service along the way.

We shall return Tibet in the near future!

Day01 Arrival Guiyang
Today you arrive in Guiyang, the provincial capital of Guizhou. Greeted and received by your local guide and escorted to your hotel in town. The rest of day is at your own disposal.


Day02 Guiyang - Anshun - Guiyang (B, L)Huangguoshuo Waterfall,Guizhou,China
Our guide and driver will escort you from Guiyang to Anshun County. Visit the Huangguoshu Waterfall, one of the biggest waterfalls in China and one of the famous waterfalls in the world. It is 74 meters in height and 81 meters in width, forming majestic vigor and grand sight. There exist different sights in day and evening or four seasons. When it comes to summer and autumn, the waterfall is world-shaking and heart-quake; when it comes to spring and winter the water fall is graceful and coquettish. And then drive to Tianxing Qiao Scenic Area, it is a natural miniascape evolving from the growing stone forests in water (Aquatic stone forest). Compared with the grandness of the Huangguoshu Waterfalls, it is more bijou and beautiful. On your way back Guiyang you will have a stop at Tianlong Tunbao Village, a very old and peculiar Han Chinese settlement existing in the southwest part of China. Here women wear Ming dynasty costumes and the houses, typically featuring Ming architectural styles, are frozen in time. You will have a chance to see their traditional opera-Dixi(Ground Opera), which they perform at festivals and celebrations, renowned as "the living fossil of the ancient shows". The performers will put wooden on their forehead and ensure their voice could be heard by the audience. Drive back to Guiyang.


Day03 Guiyang - Kaili (B, L)Qingman short-skirt Miao Village,Guizhou
In the morning you will take a 2.5 hour drive to Kaili. On arrival, take a visit to Kaili Folk Museum, which give you an excellent Guizhou Miao Minority Dance introduction to the clothing of Guizhou's ethnic minority groups. Then you will drive about 1 hour to visit Qingman short-skirt Miao Village, which is famous for their Folded-silk felting costumes. And then visit the Shiqiao Miao Village, where you will have a chance to see how local Miao people make paper from mulberry tree in a traditional way.


Day04 Kaili - Xijiang (B, L)Miao Village,Guizhou,China
Drive to visit Jidao Miao Village, then onwards to Xijiang where take a hiking tour to Langli Village (4hrs hiking). You will first of all visit make stopover at Jidao Miao Village. In the afternoon we will take a hiking (approx. 4hrs). We hike from Zhilangli Village to Chahe (river merging) and get picked by our driver for Xijiang.


Day05 Xijiang - Rongjiang (B, L)Miao Village in Guizhou's Qiandongnan Prefecture,China
Drive along the beautiful Bala River to Rongjiang. Today you will visit Taoyao Miao Village, Datang Short Skirt Miao village, Kaitun Rice Fields at Leigong Shan, and the village of the Shui people at Pingjiang. Late in the afternoon we arrive in Rongjiang and stay at local hotel.




Day06 Rongjiang - Congjiang (B, L)Miao People farming at the Paddy Rice Fields,Guizhou
Today you will leave for Conjiang. On the you you will visit Tingdong Miao village, Yintan Dong village, and the Basha Miao Village. The Miao village is very special for the beautiful costume and the male villagers still wear their hair knots. Yintan Dong village which is called the 'fairy land' in Congjiang. The Dong people are very fond of singing. They are known for their antiphonal courting songs. They also play the pipes and guitar-like instrument.


Day07 Congjiang - Zhaoxing (B, L)Dong Village in Zhaoxing,Guizhou
Transfer to Zhaoxing in the morning. Zhaoxing is the biggest Dong village in Guizhou. At the Dong village, you will see the lovely Dong drum towers, wooden bridges and working bamboo water wheel. On arrival Zhaoxing, you will visit Longtu Dong Village.


Day08 Zhaoxing - Sanjiang (B, L)Dong Village,Zhaoxing,Guizhou
In the morning you will visit Tangan Dong Village in Zhaoxing. Then drive out for Sanjiang. Sanjiang in Guangxi, is a village inhabited by the South Dong, one of the two subgroups of the Dong ethnic minority. En route visit Diping Wind and Rain Bridge, Dong Village at Tangan and the nearby Terraced-Fields (Rice Fields).


Day09 Sanjiang - Longsheng (B, L)Longsheng Terraced Rice Fields,Guilin,China
Leave in the morning for Longsheng. A short drive away from Sanjiang will take us to Chengyang for the famous Chengyang Wind and Rain Bridge, the largest and the best Wind & Rain Bridge, also known as Yongji Bridge or Panlong Bridge, was built in 1916. It is 64.4 meters long, 10.6 meters wide and 10.6 meters high. Completely made of wood and stone, it is one of the most magnificent wooden architectural structures. You will be amazed that the bridge was constructed using not a single nail or rivet! Pieces of wood are closely jointed to each other. Though decades old, it is still very sturdy and in use. The bridge is inlayed with railings on both sides, and on the bridge there are 5 tower-shaped kiosks with many horns. Many huge wooden mill wheels dotted on the hillsides beside the village, you can see or even hear the water running slowly to turn around the wheels. Here we will explore the villages on foot, visiting lively hillside farms. In the afternoon you will head for Longsheng to visit its famous Dragon Backbone Terraced Paddy Fields (Longji Rice Terraces). It is a leisure 2hrs drive from Guilin and upon arrival Longsheng you will walk in fields and visit the villages of the "Zhuang or Yao people". Longji Rice Terraces is of imposing beauty which is reputed as "unrivalled in the world". It was first built in the Yuan dynasty and completed in the Qing dynasty as the crystallization of the wisdom and diligence of the Zhuang people. The terraced fields are built along the slope winding from the riverside up to the mountaintop, with the highest place of an altitude of 885m and the lowest 380m, covering an area of 66 square kilometers. The coiling line spirals up from the mountain foot to the top, making the mountain looks like huge snail seen from afar. Overnight at Dragon Backbone Terrace.




Day10 Longsheng - Guilin (B, L)Rustic Scenery in Guilin,China
You will leave in the morning and transferred back Guilin. Drive along villages and rustic landscapes. Enjoy some free leisure time in this afternoon upon check-in your hotel in Guilin.


Day11 Guilin - Yangshuo (B, L)Li River from Guilin to Yangshuo
Guilin is perhaps China's most scenic city. It is no doubt that the best way to enjoy its picturesque scenery is from a floating deck of a luxury cruise on the Li River. Your guide and driver will transfer you from your hotel to Zhujiang Pier to board your wonderful river cruise tour to Yangshuo. Li River, also known as Guishui River or Gui River, takes its source at Mao'er Mountain in Xing'an County, which lies to northeast Guilin, Guangxi Zhuang Autonomous Region. Li River makes its way through Guilin and Yangshuo and merges into Xijiang River in Wuzhou. The mountains on the banks over 40 kilometers long between Guilin and Yangshuo display their extraordinary beauty as a result of the development of the limestone. More than 40,000 hills lie along the two sides of the river, covering a total length of more than 150 kilometers. With their astonishing resemblance to bamboo shoot, screen, elephant and camel, these mountains, together with green banyans and green bamboo as well as the cottages and fishing boats, contribute to form a scenery picture depicting a haven of peace dominated by green. After a 4.5 hours cruise on the river you will finally make disembarkation at Yangshuo where you can completely relieve stress and enjoy leisure time in Yangshuo.


Day12 Yangshuo (B, L)Cycle around Rustic Yangshuo
This morning you will have a bicycle tour to discover the rustic landscapes of Yangshuo. The bike tour includes a family visit on your way to the upper reach of Yulong River. Afterwards you will take a bamboo rafting on the Yulong River. Many people regard this part of scenery along the bamboo rafting as "Paradise", the boat go through the peaceful river, the rice paddy fields, water buffalos and singing birds constitute a real world experience of "Alice in Wonderland".


Day13 Yangshuo - Guilin (B, L)elephant trunk hill guilin
Enjoy the fresh air in Yangshuo before transferring back Guilin. It takes around 50 minutes to reach Guilin and on arrival Guilin you will visit two must-see attractions in the city. You will visit Reed Flute Cave. Comprising different kinds of natural rock formations, Reed Flute Cave (Lu Di Yan) is the most important and sight worthy cave of Guilin vicinity for its length of 240 meters and its many stalactites, stalagmites and rock formations in weird and wonderful shapes appealing to everyone's imagination. In addition, you will visit the Elephant Trunk Hill, located at the confluence of the Li River and Peach Blossom River in the south central area of Guilin City. It looks like a huge elephant stretching its trunk and drinking water, hence the name. Elephant Trunk Hill is the symbol of Guilin and its limestone landscape.


Day14 Depart Guilin (B)
Free at your own leisure until check out and transferred to airport for departure. End of your China journey.
