Mt.Huangshan is in Anhui, China is the most well-known for breathtaking scenery and beautiful landscapes. Chinese says, "There is no need to visit any other mountains after touring Huangshan." Its four unique scenes of odd-shaped pine trees, rocks, hot springs, and sea of clouds have attracted many Chinese travelers. Huangshan has been the one of the best travel destinations for Chinese since ancient time. Huangshan is also a frequent subject of traditional Chinese paintings and literature. Today, Huangshan is a UNESCO World Heritage Site and one of China's most popular tourist destinations.
Huangshan is a granite massif consisting of 36 separate peaks, rising above 1,800 m. Famous throughout Chinese artistic history, Huangshan represents the typical mountain in Chinese paintings. Frequently shrouded in mist, the many peaks appear to float on clouds and have very fanciful names such as 18 Arhats Worshipping the South Sea, Lotus Flower Peak, Celestial Capital, Paint Brush, etc.
Since Huangshan City is a tourist city with a pleasant climate, travel plans need not be interrupted by weather. So the sights of Huangshan City, such as Tunxi Ancient Street, Xidi, and Hongcun Ancient Villages, Tangyue Archways, Flower Mountain and Enigma Caves can be visited throughout the year as can Yellow Mountain with each season offering different appealing features.
