Entering the main gate, you will see the thick bamboo forest immediately. Since Xue Tao loved bamboo for her entire life, people planted more than 100 kinds of bamboos, most of which are rare and precious, including Phyllostachys Aurea, Bambusa Multiplex, Bambusa Sinospinosa and Bambusa multiplex. And the park is even called "Bamboo Park". It is a good place to appreciate bamboos in Chengdu.

The so-called Wangjinglou (the building to watch the Jinjiang River) is Chongli Pavilion, which is a 27.9-meter wooden building enshrined and worshiped the Star of Wisdom. It is the most magnificent architecture in the park which has even become the symbolic building of Chengdu. There are four storeys in the pavilion, two above in the shape of octagon and two below in the shape of square. The ridges and decorated brackets are designed with delicate animal clay figurines and stone carvings of human figures. The top of the pavilion is gilt bronze and shining in the sun. Looking far from the Chongli Pavilion, you can enjoy the beautiful sceneries around Jinjiang River. Besides, the Yinshi Building is open full; Zhuojin Building is like a boat with two storeys and three rooms. The Chongli Pavilion, together with the Yinshi Builfing, Zhuojin Building and Wuyun Fairy Museum, construct the Sichuang-style garden building group.

The huanjian Pavilion is built in the shape of "Chinese Character Ping" and delicately designed, inside of which the process of making paper and notes are exhibited. With simple and beautiful wooden window, the Qingwan House displays the portrait of Xue Tao and the inscriptions to praise her. In the Commercial Museum of Xue Tao covering 700 square meters, materials to introduce the life and poems of Xuetao are exhibited. The statue of Xue Tao is next to the museum, in the height of three meters and made of white marble. It is said that Xue tao created a kind of red, brilliant and delicate note by using the water in an old well in the park. As a result, the well is called Xue Tao Well, whose words were written during Qianlong years.
