We had a wonderful time in Tibet. We have learned a lot about this unique destination because of the wonderful guide Degyi who is so knowledge and always available towards our tours. We stayed at the Shangri-La Hotel Lhasa, and we would never imagine a Tibet travel could be so nice and amazing without the help of Degyi.
Also, thanks a lot to our Tibetan driver Mr.Wongdun for his safe driving and a good sense of service along the way.
We shall return Tibet in the near future!

 Tour Name: Bike Tour in SichuanTour Code: M63D339 Duration: 10 Days & 9 Nights Destination: Chengdu, Ya'an, Hailuogou Glacier, Kangding, Xinduqiao, Danba, Rilong Features: The 10-day cycling tour through Western Sichuan begins and ends in Chengdu, the provincial capital and home to the lovely Giant Pandas. The first day biking with a city tour of Chengdu visiting Wangjiang Park, Wide and Narrow Alleys and a local teahouse with night show of Sichuan Opera. From the following day onwards you will go out to explore the Tibetan areas such as Kangding, Lhagong and Danba in Western of Sichuan. | Day02 Chengdu (B, L)  You will ride your bike to explore the city of Chengdu. The tour includes the Wangjiang Park, Wide and Narrow Alleys and a local teahouse with night show of Sichuan Opera. | ||

| Day03 Chengdu - Ya'an (B, L)  Transport to Pingle Ancient Town and ride via Shangli and Bifengxia Giant Panda Breeding Institute. In the afternoon you will visit Giant Pandas at Ya'an Giant Panda Breeding Centre. Most of the pandas at Ya'an Base were moved from Wolong Preserve after the earthquake in May 2008. You will have a walking in the gorge. | ||

| Day04 Ya'an - Hailuogou (B, L, D)  Leave in the morning for Hailuogou. You will cycle to Tianquan County along the beautiful Qingyi River (River of Green Cloth) and part of the road will be covered by your support vehicle. After that you will ride your bike ascending to the Erlang Tunnel which is nice and refreshing as these zigzagging mountain trail leading you up in dense woods. You will then descend to the Dadu River Basin where comes the Tibetan Khampa area. Later in the afternoon you reach Moxi Town and enjoy hotspring at the Hailuogou Glacier Park. | ||

| Day05 Hailuogou - Kangding (B, L, D)  This morning you will admire the glacier park and enjoy sunrise over the mountains. Thereafter you will bike towards Kangding. You will ride on tranquil road for approx.40km to Yajiageng, a hidden gem sits at the east slope of the mighty Minya Konka Mountain. You will see beautiful forests, amazing alpine lakes and red rocky shoals thereby. In the afternoon you reach Kangding, the gateway to Tibet from Sichuan. | ||

| Day06 Kangding - Xinduqiao (B, L, D)  Leave in the morning for Xinqudiao. Right out of Kangding, we start ascending up to Tsedo Mountain which is over 4,000 meters/13,123 feet above sea level. The scenery at the top of the mountain is fantastic. We will use our vehicle for the first ascending and from the pass we will cycle down to Xinduqiao, a small Tibetan town where can view the snowy peaks of Minya Konka when weather is good. | ||

| Day07 Xinduqiao - Danba (B, L, D)  From here we go to Lhagong to visit Lhagong Monastery, a big Gelupa Sect Buddhist monastery in Kham. Then you will cycle to Danba along the Yak River. Transferred to Jiaju Tibetan Village in the Dadu Valley and enjoy your homestay with the Tibetans. | ||

| Day08 Danba - Rilong (B, L, D)  In the morning take sunrise at Jiaju Village. Then you will bike to Suopo Village to see the ancient block towers that were built hundreds years ago serving as a defense structure. After that you will ride your bike to Rilong Town where you will take a tour bus to explore Shangqiao Valley (Double Bridge Valley), one of the three open valleys of Mt. Siguniang (Four Sisters Mountain). Standing on the borderline of Xiaojin and Wenchuan in Western China's Sichuan Province, Siguniang Shan offers some of China's most pristine and less visited mountain sceneries. | ||

| Day09 Rilong - Chengdu (B, L, D)  Today you will be driven to Chengdu. En route you can ride at some nice sections. Later in the afternoon you arrive in Chengdu and enjoy a savory hotpot dinner. | ||

| Day10 Depart Chengdu (B) Transfer to airport for your departure flight. Journey ends. | ||
