We had a wonderful time in Tibet. We have learned a lot about this unique destination because of the wonderful guide Degyi who is so knowledge and always available towards our tours. We stayed at the Shangri-La Hotel Lhasa, and we would never imagine a Tibet travel could be so nice and amazing without the help of Degyi.
Also, thanks a lot to our Tibetan driver Mr.Wongdun for his safe driving and a good sense of service along the way.
We shall return Tibet in the near future!

Day02 Beijing - Shanhaiguan (B, L, D)
You will meet with your guide and driver in the morning. You will have a 4 hour drive to Shanhaiguan Pass, which is in a town in the northeast of Qinhuangdao City, Hebei Province. It adjoins the Bohai Sea to the southeast and the Yanshan Mountain to the northwest. On arrival at the Old Dragon's Head (Laolongtou), you will start the hike towards Shanhaiguan Pass. Laolongtou is the easternmost of the Great Wall of China, which extends into the Bohai Sea. Standing here is almost like being on a peninsula as you can feel the overwhelming power of the rolling sea. The hike to Shanhaigou lasts 1.5hrs. Known as "The First Pass under Heaven", Shanhaiguan Fortress had a strategic importance in Chinese history and today it is still well preserved. Visit the fortress and towers. Overnight at a cozy and comfortable hotel in town.
Day03 Shanhaiguan - Sandaoguan (B, L, D)
After breakfast at hotel, you will leave the town by a short drive to the foot of a mountain and start the hiking ascending to Sandaoguan village. In this local village you can chat with the local villagers. Tonight you will stay at a local farmer's guesthouse with clean bed and public bathroom.
Day04 Sandaoguan - East Qing Tombs (B, L, D)
The activity today starts with a walking to the Cihou tower, which is a fantastically beautiful ruined tower, and the layout gives you a sweeping panoramic view of the countryside. You will then hike to another local village. The villagers are descendants of the fortress' original builders. In the afternoon you will have a 4-hour drive to the East Qing Tombs, where you will stay the night in a nice hotel nearby.
Day05 East Qing Tombs - Huangyaguan (B, L, D)
This morning you will make a trip to the East Qing Tombs. The Eastern Qing Tombs, which is among the finest, best-preserved and largest of the extant tomb complexes in China. Along the south side of Changrui Mountain, the tombs of five emperors, four empresses, five imperial concubines, and one princess are arrayed based on the traditional concept of placing the most senior and most distinguished in the center. These tombs form a countryside version of the Imperial City. After lunch at a fine restaurant, you will be driven to a tiny village from where you will start your 1.5hrs walking towards Huangyaguan Wall. On arrival, you will visit Huangyaguan Fortress. Overnight at a clean local hotel
Day06 Huangyaguan - Mountain Village (B, L, D)
Enjoy your breakfast at hotel. Then you will continue the walking on the Huayaguan Great Wall. The first hour hike takes us to the "Heaven's Ladder" on which leading to the top of the wall. You will keep walking along the wall ridge until it gradually descends to the valley below. You will walk to the mountain village in the valley and stay for the night at a local farmer's house with clean bed.
Day07 Mountain Village - Simatai (B, L, D)
Wake up in the morning and after refreshments you will take a steep trail that leading us across the village fields and up to the Wall where Tianjin City, Hebei Province, and Beijing all meet together. From there the walking is quite easy and we keep going until meeting a local village, where our driver awaits and will transfer us to Simatai. Stay overnight at a cozy hostel with private toiletries
Day08 Simatai - Jinshanling (B, L, D)
You hike begins from Simatai and heading westwards along the Wall to Jinshanling. To away from the normal route that most hikers do, we will take the walking on the "wild wall" that is unrestored thus keeps its original features and the view along the view is amazing. In the early afternoon you will reach Jinshanling Wall and enjoy yourself at a comfortable hotel.
Day09 Jinshanling - Jiankou (B, L, D)
Today you will continue the hike westwards to the General Tower at Gubeikou. Gubeikou is mostly 'Wild Wall' so the hiking will be tougher than the previous days. Enjoy a picnic lunch on the Wall in the backdrop of beautiful and refreshing countryside. At the end of today's trek, you will be transferred to local farmer's home in the village Jiankou.
Day10 Jiankou - Mutianyu - Beijing (B, L)
You will enjoy the stunning views on the Wall at Jiankou, as it is commonly accepted the Jiankou section of the Great Wall is one of the most-beautiful parts of the 'wild' Wall near Beijing. Enjoy your last hours walking on the Great Wall to Mutianyuan. Though most parts of the wall at Mutianyu has been restored, it still offers spectacular views of the valley and the winding wall itself. You will have lunch at a local restaurant at Mutianyuan before transferring back your hotel in Beijing.
Day11 Beijing (B, L, SD)
Enjoy your buffet breakfast at your hotel. Today you will have a day guided tour to explore Beijing. This morning the tour begins with a visit of the Temple of Heaven, located in the southern part of Beijing, and has been one of the most holy places for the whole country for more than five centuries. It used as a complex of sacrificial buildings for the Ming and Qing emperors, and is the largest one in Beijing among several royal altars to Heaven, Earth, the Sun, the Moon and other deities or symbolic forces of Nature. Then you will take a walking in the iconic Tiananmen Square, which is probably the biggest one of its kind in the world. From here you will go on to the Forbidden City (also known officially as the Imperial Palace Museum ) was commissioned by the third Emperor of the Ming Dynasty, Emperor Yong Le. The palace was built between 1406 and 1420, but was burnt down, rebuilt, sacked and renovated countless times, so most of the architecture you can see today dates from the 1700's and on wards. The Forbidden City was the seat of Imperial power for 500 years, and is now a major tourist attraction in China. The total area of the complex is 183 acres, so it takes quite a while to walk through, especially if you want to have a close look at everything. All together there are 9,999 1/2 rooms in the Museum, not all of which can be visited. In the evening you will enjoy the Peking Roast Duck Dinner.
