We had a wonderful time in Tibet. We have learned a lot about this unique destination because of the wonderful guide Degyi who is so knowledge and always available towards our tours. We stayed at the Shangri-La Hotel Lhasa, and we would never imagine a Tibet travel could be so nice and amazing without the help of Degyi.
Also, thanks a lot to our Tibetan driver Mr.Wongdun for his safe driving and a good sense of service along the way.
We shall return Tibet in the near future!

Day01 Arrival Lijiang Today you arrive in Lijiang in northwest Yunnan Province. Greeted and received by your local guide who will escort you to your hotel. The rest of day is at your own disposal. | ||

Day02 Lijiang - Baoshan (B, L, D)
After breakfast you will drive 100 kilometers, pass Jade dragon Snow mountain, and then get to Guolu Naxi village, 3.5 hours later stop for lunch in a local village restaurant. After lunch drive a little bit further to the top, then 3 hours walking down to the stone city in Baoshan. Overnight at a local's house with clean bed and shared toilet
Day03 Trek to Liuqing (B, L, D)
The first 2 hours hiking along the trail will take you passing some Naxi villages, and get to the foot of Prince Hill. A farther 3 hours walking up to the hilltop and enjoy a picnic lunch on the way. Keep walking for another half hour to Liuqing Village. Overnight homestay in the village with clean bed
Day04 Trek to Fenglian B, L, D)
Today you will have 6-7 hour hiking along the Yangtze River. Overnight homestay in Fenglian village with clean bed
Day05 Trek to Gewa (B, L, D)
You will trek to the pier by the Yangtze River (1.5hrs). Take a ferry to the other side of the Yangtze. You walk for another hour to a Mosuo Village by the name of Labo to have a good lunch. In the afternoon you will walk 3 hours to Gewa Village. Overnight homestay in a Mosuo family with clean bed
Day06 Trek to Zhuangzi (B, L, D)
It is quite leisure today as you only need a 4-5 hour walking. You will be traversing through some Mosuo and Pumi villages, and lunch will be arranged in the village. In the afternoon you reach Zhuangzi, a Pumi village. Overnight homestay with clean bed
Day07 Trek to Yongning, drive to Lugu Lake (B, L, D)
After breakfast you will walk along the stream and beautiful forest, you will see many plants and rhododendron in spring. After the first 3 hours you will reach the pass, and continue walking down to the Yi people village. Have a picnic lunch on the way. In the afternoon you will walk another 3 hours to Yongning Town where you will conclude your walking in the villages. Transferred to Lugu Lake and enjoy a savory dinner that followed by a bonfire evening party.
Day08 Lugu Lake - Lijiang (B, L)
Early morning cruise on Lugu lake and visits Mosuo village. Lugu Lake is a high mountain plateau lake, 2685 meters above sea level, located 202km northeast of Lijiang on the border of Sichuan and Yunnan. The lake is 48.5 square kilometers and is quite deep, being about 93.5m at its deepest point. It is surrounded by mountains and has eight islands and many bays and beaches. The inhabitants around the lake are the Mosuo people, a small tribe that is considered a sub clan of Naxi people. The Mosuo culture is most frequently described as a matriarchal one. You will be transferred back Lijiang in the afternoon.
Day09 Depart Lijiang (B)
Free and transfer to airport for departure flight. End of your journey.
